Your song sounds really amazing, and it sounds like a lot of time and work went into the creation of this song and I congratulate on the effort and the actual point that it sounds great. Did you sample the part at 0:16 - 0:23 from somewhere?

Yes and no.
4/4 Kick and bass is from Da Funk by Daft Punk. I added a secondary bass and altered the general tone of it to be darker.
The toms are also from the Da Funk song, but they've been rearranged/edited.

Amazing piece of music, It always seems like there are actually only 1 or 2 good songs on the top 5 weekly, and your song takes the cake.

Aw shucks! You should go listen to my friend InvisibleObserver's song, Lackadaisical Cohort. It made it in the #2 spot for this week, and it is pretty interesting to say the least. :-)
